The idea of hands-on teaching is not something new. But to have one that focus on Green infrastructure and mainly on Green Stormwater Infrastructures is. The Maker Park initiative is one of such that is based in Philadelphia. Boris, a student currently in University of Pennsylvania is one of the leaders in the project and presented today the current progress and future ideas for the Maker Park. The idea is to have micro environments where students can not only learn but also work on their ideas. Currently, Maker Park is in the process of creating a documentation and registering for non-profit. Boris points out the need for networking and community support.
